“SOD CERTIFICATE”

Many customers are asking us to fax or mail "documentation that L.E. Cooke Co is certified clean of Phytophthora Ramorum."

The L.E. Cooke Co is certified under the Phytophthora Ramorum Quarantine Project Compliance Agreement. There is no “certificate” document per se. There is a signed agreement (7 pages) between the L.E. Cooke Co and the joint auspices of USDA, CDFA and County of Tulare Agricultural Commissioner. The nursery has been thoroughly inspected (multiple times for multiple revisions of the inspection requirements). The L.E. Cooke Co has been certified and allowed to stamp appropriate documents (invoices and packing lists) where Host products are listed.

The official place to receive confirmation of certification is on the CDFA web site where all Certified Nursery Growers are listed. It is kept current by the State of California.

We are in a county where no SOD has ever been found. Check the link for ‘Nurseries Under Compliance – Non Infested Counties” and you will get a current PDF list. It is on this list that you will find the L.E. Cooke Co.

Although it should not be necessary, we can fax copies of the 7 pages of the Compliance Agreement between L.E. Cooke and USDA/CDFA/County of Tulare Agricultural Commissioner.
